All players from the club are placed into mixed teams on the day. Each team will compete in a round-robin format, playing 15-minute matches against every other team. Points are awarded for wins and draws, and at the end of the day, the team with the most points will be crowned Gladstone Cup Champions!

Each team will be managed by a parent, who will take the reins and guide their squad through the tournament. These parent-managers play a key role and, just like the players, will be rewarded for their efforts with their very own Gladstone Cup trophy!

Our coaches are fully qualified giving the best support on & off the field of play. Our desire & ambition to not just referee but also offer in game coaching during match play gives the players real time awareness of not just the mistakes they make but also the wonderful passes and tackles as well.

Teams will be assembled with chemistry, balance and ability in mind. Our coaching and admin team will carefully consider each player’s style, strengths and temperament to ensure fair and exciting matchups all around.

This competition is not only a highlight of the term but also a celebration of our club community — players, parents and coaches coming together for a day of memories, teamwork and glory!

Let the games begin… and may the best team lift the Gladstone Cup!
