Our standard camp hours at William Hogarth School are 08:30 to 18:00

If you’re running late and expect to arrive after 16:15, please contact the camp office as soon as possible to keep us informed. While we do not offer an extended day option, our staff will remain on site until 17:00 to ensure your child is safely supervised.

Please be aware that from 17:00 onwards, if a child remains uncollected and we are unable to reach parents or carers, we are legally required to notify Children’s Services.

Additionally, a late collection fee of £5 for every five minutes after 16:15 will apply and will be automatically added to your account.

We recommend:

• A refillable water bottle
  
  
• A nut-free packed lunch and two snacks (unless otherwise stated)
  
  
• Comfortable clothing and suitable footwear for physical activity
  
  

A hat and sunscreen in hot weather or a raincoat if needed
 (We’ll email any specific requirements ahead of time.)

No, children must bring their own packed lunch and snacks unless you're enrolled in a meal plan (if offered). Please ensure all food is nut-free.

With over ten years of experience, we’ve found that the vast majority of children truly enjoy their time at camp. That said, it’s not uncommon for a few to feel a little hesitant at the start of the day. In these moments, as difficult as it may feel, we encourage you to leave your child in our capable hands. Rest assured, if your child is unable to settle, we will be in touch with you promptly.

If you’d like to check in on your child’s wellbeing during the day, you’re always welcome to contact our team for an update.

We believe in open and honest communication between parents and our staff, and your child’s happiness, safety, and wellbeing remain our top priority. If your child is struggling to settle over a longer period, please don’t hesitate to speak to a member of the team or contact the office directly. In our experience, most worries are quickly resolved with a little time and support.

• For children aged 3 & 4 the staff to child ratio is 1:8
• For children aged 5 to 7 years the staff to child ratio is 1:10
• For children aged 8 to 10 years the staff to child ratio is 1:12

Of course there are always additional staff on hand ensuring that we are able to fulfil a child's needs at all times.

We understand that plans can change — and everyone deserves a holiday! That’s why we aim to keep things flexible. If you need to change your booking, just email us at least 7 days before your scheduled start date, and we’ll do our best to accommodate the change, subject to availability.

Please note: if the new dates have a higher cost, the difference will need to be covered.
